Relines and Repairs

Broken, worn or ill-fitting dentures need not always be replaced and Dr. Goldman can repair many dentures so that they are once again comfortable and tightly fitting.

Dr. Goldman has a denture lab on his premises and can provide same-day relines and repairs.

Relines

Dr. Goldman takes new impressions of your gums and relines your denture so that it now conforms to the contours of your mouth.

Soft Reline Occasionally, a patient finds that he cannot wear his denture because his gums are too tender and he keeps getting sore spots. In cases where the patient is unable to wear ordinary dentures because of tender gums, the denture can be relined with a material that remains somewhat pliable for a year or two before it needs replacement.

Rebases

If the denture teeth on your denture are not worn but the denture base material is, Dr. Goldman retrofits the denture by replacing the denture base with new material.

Denture Repairs

Dr. Goldman can restore most broken or cracked dentures to their original state. Repairs may also be required when breakage or chipping occurs, when one or more teeth need to be added to an existing denture( due to tooth extraction), or because of wear and tear.
